LEAP Program

To cultivate Taiwan's high-level technological and innovative entrepreneurial talents as the foundation for technological innovation in Taiwan, the National Science and Technology Council launched the LEAP Program. The mission of the LEAP Program is to send doctoral talents with an entrepreneurial ambition to receive training spans from six to twelve months in prestigious academic research institutions in the U.S., France, and Israel.

It is hoped that the LEAP Program can act as a catalyst for Taiwan’s talents to hone their entrepreneurship skills and to establish a stronger innovative resource network between Taiwan and overseas countries so that they can contribute to domestic industries and academia after returning to Taiwan.
