During the 11th National Science and Technology Conference in 2020, the Vision for Taiwan in 2030 was presented: Innovation, Inclusion, and Sustainability. Embracing the vision, the Inclusion-Focused Project Team aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of inclusion issues in our society and the role of science and technology in promoting inclusion. The Team focuses on four core areas: diversity and inclusion in research activities; technology accessibility; the impact of S&T development; and decision-making, governance, and civic engagement. From here, the Team gradually builds the foundation of knowledge and capacity for inclusion issues, gathering scholars, experts, and think tanks to complement each other's strengths, share information, and collaborate. This could strengthen advocates' social networks, promote in-depth discussions on inclusion, and help incorporate inclusive thinking into S&T policy planning, thereby promoting equality and inclusive society in reality.
